Can a Trauma Bond form without a Narcissist?

A Trauma Bond forms when there is an Intermittent cycle of abuse and positive reinforcement

  • You don’t need a Narcissist to make that happen.  
  • it doesn’t form in all abusive relationships but most, you can also experience trauma bond to a parent, a boss or a friend…  
  • When you’re in a Trauma Bond it feels like you can’t leave, you want to leave, you wish you could leave but you feel stuck and trapped, you feel obligated to stay, you feel it would be impossible to leave.  
  • Trauma Bonds bring a lot of confusion, cognitive dissonance and self blame but the good news trauma bonds can be broken.
